Crystal Clear

A vision crystallizes the desired or intended future.  Vision is a long term view, and combining that with absolute clarity is the key to creating massive growth and a positive and productive personal or professional culture.  Vision is part of a desire. Who do you want to be? What do you want your business or work to be?

What role will you play as your work or business and life grows? Discovering your vision is a process of  both self and organizational discovery.  Whether you are an individual or an organization, take some time to uncover what is truly important to you.  One of the biggest missteps that most people make is not taking to time to truly uncover that vision.

Some characteristics of a vision are:

1. Clarity and specificity

2. Vivid and clear picture

3. Description of a bright future

4. Memorable and engaging imagery through words and pictures

5. Aligned with personal and organizational values and culture

A value is a belief, a mission, or a philosophy that is meaningful. Whether we are consciously aware of them or not, every individual has a core set of personal values. Values can range from the commonplace, such as the belief in hard work and punctuality, to the more psychological, such as self- reliance, concern for others, and a sense of purpose. Values are traits or qualities that are considered worthwhile; they represent your highest priorities and deeply held driving principles.

Create a strong sense of vision and values and watch your own miracles unfold.

“The more clear and definite you make your picture then, and the more you dwell upon it, bringing out all its delightful details, the stronger your desire will be, and the stronger your desire, the easier it will be to hold your mind fixed upon the picture of what you want.” – Wallace Wattles
