The Twelfth Day of Christmas

Dear Friend,

The spirit, the love and the meaning of Christmas is brought to life in the amazing lyrics and meaning of this song. I have really enjoyed sharing this information. If you have missed any of the days, check out my blog at www.hawkinssharpe.com/kandeeg.com/. The meaning in this song has such significance on how to live a life filled with love, joy and wonder. Keep refering back to the incredible messages within the lyrics. I hope you have enjoyed as I have. You will be receiving one more email tomorrow where I will recap the twelve messages for you.

The twelve days of Christmas are the twelve days between Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, the birth of Jesus, and the Epiphany, Jan. 6th, (epiphany being the Greek word for manifestation).

“The Twelve Days of Christmas” has its origins in spiritual symbolism-and with a serious purpose.

Each element is a code word for a religious truth.

All the gifts sent on the subsequent days of Christmas were gifts disguised in the words of the song that come to all who believe in the love and truth of God.

The song’s gifts are hidden meanings to the teachings of faith and belief.  The “true love” mentioned in the song doesn’t refer to an earthly suitor, it refers to God. The “me” who receives the presents refers to everyone who believes.

“On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me; Twelve Drummers Drumming.” The Twelve Drummers Drumming represents the Apostles’ Creed which are declarations of belief. The creed reads as follows:

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. AMEN.

There is magic is in believing. Why is belief so important? What does it really mean to believe? Passion fuels our desires. Our desires fuel our drives and create fulfillment. It is belief that drives our passions. It is up to us to take the time to unearth, to dig deep and discover what our beliefs really are. With real belief we can utilize incredible laws and principles that can help bring these unearthed dreams and treasures to life.

And then, declare your beliefs. Speak your beliefs. Focus on those things that you know are right and true.

Today, take a moment to see the incredible magic around you. Take some time to see how God’s love is at work in your own life.  Receive all the wonderful gifts that await you.  Believe, accept and use these gifts for the good of all.
